Vintage 1980s Maximalist Green and Gold Wearable Art Patchwork Jacket by Judith Roberto, Medium

An out of this world 1980s patchwork puff sleeve fitted jacket by Mexican designer Judith Roberto. It has a collarless round neck and piping down the sleeves. Features mirrored textiles on either side of the jacket with iridescent fabric patches and exaggerated top stitching and trim. The back features a large Renaissance style painting print patch. It has a front chain button closure and is fully lined in black. 

This piece was worn by Maria Bakalova as Ivana Trump in The Apprentice (2024)- costume designer: Laura Montgomery. Bakalova wore it underneath a blue coat in a scene just over an hour into the movie, where Ivana is promoting Trump Tower while it is under construction.
